Sabrina was born and grew up in Germany where she was trained, received Teacher Certifications and competed in all 10 ballroom dances. She started teaching dance at the age of 13. She has been a professional dance instructor and competitor for more than 15 years.
She is trained in social dancing and competitions in ballroom and Latin dances, Country & Western, Salsa, Swing, Hustle and other dances as well as z Zumba Fitness instructor.
She currently travels all over the United States to teach workshops and compete. She holds weekly West Coast Swing classes every Tuesday at Sara Dance Center.
Jonathan has been teaching ballroom dancing since 1985. He began his career at the Fred Astaire dance studio in Lakeland Florida and moved to Sarasota in 1988. He is a Certified Dance Sport Teacher for over 20 years. He has won top awards for teaching and competing regionally, nationally, and internationally. Jonathan is also a licensed message therapist for over 15 years and applies his knowledge of anatomy and physiology to dancing. He has been teaching at Sara Dance Center for several years.

Born in Ukraine, Olga was introduced to Ballroom, Latin, and Belly Dance at 6 years old. She moved to Florida in 2014 and found her passion for teaching dance and inspiring others. She sees dance as a social activity as well as a pathway to health and happiness. She teaches all ages, especially children. She is a Naval Reservist of two years and has served as a contracted linguist overseas.

Zavio started dancing at the age of 16 developing his love for Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop and Breakdancing. In 2011 he turned Ballroom dancing and quickly became a certified teacher. He does performances all over the state as well as locally with his partner Aliska. They aspire to compete in Argentine Tango, in which he specializes. Zavio teaches all forms of dance for both social and competitive levels. Zavio is an expert in choreography, Quenceneras, Wedding Dance, and any special occasion for a couple or group.
Ilona is a professional dancer, teacher, and coach who has been dancing and competing internationally for over 20 years. She has been Latvian and Bulgarian dance champion, and semi-finalist and finalist in multiple European competitions. She is registered as a Ballroom Adjudicator and certified by the United States Terpsichore Association as Championship Judge. Ilona's dance instruction is tailored to your individual requests and goals in all dances whether you wish to social dance or compete. She is skilled in coaching students and teachers at any level.
Sarah is a former amateur Latin champion and Pro/Am Latin Finalist. Sarah is a Professional Dance Teacher and Latin Dance Coach. She has the ability to teach beginner and intermediate and specializes in coaching Latin for competitions for couples, individuals, and other professional teachers who wish to go beyond. Sarah has 16 years of Ballroom and Latin dance training and experience. She has been teaching dance for over 12 years.
Greg was born in England and started dancing at the age of 5. He studied a range of styles from classic ballet to hip-hop by the age of 12. He then moved to ballroom dancing by 14, becoming a US National and International champion. He has danced with companies such as The Regal Ballet and American Dance Theatre. He has over 17 years of dance training.

Joe has trained with some of the finest teachers at Sara Dance Center . He is a Certified Dance Instructor and is a Member USA Dance Organization. He competes with his partner, Beth, in Open Style & Solo Exhibition Gold Level. He started dancing in ballroom in 1999 and has studied dancing since. Joe teaches basic Smooth and Latin dances.
Originally from Columbia, Luis developed a passion for music and dance at a young age. He began playing drums at age seven and shortly thereafter began dancing. He has competed professionally in Latin dances for more than 14 years and now competes in both Rhythm and Smooth. An expert in all dances, Luis specializes in Argentine Tango.
A native of Czechoslovakia, Sida is a ballroom dancer, instructor, choreographer and International Latin Ballroom competitor residing in Sarasota, Florida. He was the choreographer for the workshop of the Broadway-bound dance musical, Havana and coached the Czech National Junior Team. In addition, Rastio is a professional tennis player.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Marina Gando fell in love with dance while moving to the beats of Salsa, Merengue and Bachata as a social dancer. Intrigued by other dances and styles, Marina ardently pursued her passion, training with former US and World Champions. Certified by Pro DVIDA, Marina teaches Ballroom and Social Dancing to a wide range of students from beginners to competitive dancers, and competes in Pro-Am Smooth and Rhythm. Has over 15 years of teaching experience from beginners to championship levels. Ben started his dance career with Lindy Hop and won the IDO Swing Dance Championship. Since then, Ben has been trained by the best in the dance industry in all styles of dance including: Ballroom, Standard, Smooth, Latin and American Rhythm. Social styles of salsa,west coast and Argentinian tango.
Sara Dance Center is owned and operated by John Mueller. John was born in Poland, coming to the U.S. when he was 16. As a young man, he was a weight lifter and a golden gloves boxer. Through this, he was introduced to dancing and trained to become a dance teacher in Youngstown, Ohio at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio at 18. He moved to Brooklyn in the late fifties and continued with Arthur Murray at the 5th Avenue studio in Manhattan. His determination in dancing and teaching won him many competitions and landed him as a Dance Director, a Certified Judge in American & International Styles, and a member of the National Dance Board, which sets the curriculum for the franchise worldwide and has trained teachers nationally.
John eventually moved to Florida, managing 7 dance studios before settling down with Sara Dance Center in 1989. John is a Master Instructor and teaches all styles of dance including:American and International Smooth, Latins, Hustle, Swings, and Argentine Tango.
